Briefing on the Review Meeting of the Technical Solution of KXG-SYS-65 Centrifugal Dryer System for Resin Granules

As a type of core process equipment of large squeezing granulator units, a centrifugal dryer is used for the separation of water from resin granules and the drying after granulation. At present, the petrochemical industry has no large centrifugal dryer application ever. The imported centrifugal dryer has the disadvantages of high price, long lead time, and lagging services, which will seriously affect the production schedule of the units. If foreign suppliers cut off the supply, there is no domestic centrifugal dryer to meet the requirements of applications of large squeezing granulator units, which will seriously affect the supporting safety of the domestic large squeezing granulator units.

After hard work and painstaking research and development, Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd. finally completed the localization of large squeezing granulator units and put them into operation for domestic petrochemical enterprises. The company became the fourth international manufacturer and the only domestic manufacturer of large squeezing granulator units. Tianjin Promising Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. is a domestic enterprise with centrifugal dryer technology and product application experience and has the technology and manufacturing base for localization of large centrifugal dryers. In this cooperation, Tianjin Promising Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. became the supporting cooperative supplier for the large squeezing granulator unit project of Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd. The advantages of the two companies combined together will certainly promote and realize the development progress of the domestic centrifugal dryer industry. Founded in 1958, the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) is a high-level university established by the new China for the purpose of "cultivating advanced technical talents of chemical technology required for the development of cutting-edge science". As a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key member university of the national Project 211 and 985 Project Innovation Platform, and a member university of the Double First Class University Plan, BUCT is tasked with the cultivation of high-level innovative talents and basic, forward-looking scientific research as well as original high-tech development. In this cooperation, BUCT will serve as an industry-academia-research base and simulation research base for the localization project of large squeezing granulator units.

On March 30, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., through the careful preparation and cooperation of the above three parties, the Review Meeting of the Technical Solution of the 350 kt/a PP Model (Promising KXG-SYS-65 Model) of the Centrifugal Dryer for the Large Squeezing Granulator Unit was held in the form of the web conference. The leaders who participated in this meeting were as follows: Jia Chaoyang, Vice President of Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd., Dr. Xue Ping and Dr. Zhang Run, professors and doctoral supervisors of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Pu Song, Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Equipment, and Liang Chao, Director of Office of the Institute of Petrochemical Equipment, Su Qiaoli, Chairman of Tianjin Promising Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd., Wu Xueyou, Executive Vice General Manager of Tianjin Promising Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd., Zhang Wei, Jin He, Kong Deqing and Zhou Renzhong of Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd., and Jiang Jian, Executive Director, Xu Jianxin, Technical Director, Li Dequan, Chief Engineer, Zhao Jianfeng, Production Director, Qi Juzhen, Assistant General Manager and Wang Shigang, Deputy Sales Director of Tianjin Promising Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd.


Firstly, BUCT introduced the simulation research of the centrifugal dryer (the abovementioned model), including the establishment and analysis of granules transport, impact-enabled water scavenging and evaporation-enabled water scavenging models, and gave specialized and authoritative analyses and suggestions.

Promising presented the overall schematic design of the equipment, as well as the implementation plan of the subsequent machining process, manufacturing, inspection, assembly, tooling design, and shipment.




Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd. listened carefully to all the report contents and had in-depth communication and discussion with all parties on the current simulation research results and the overall implementation plan of the equipment. At the scene, the interaction was frequent, the atmosphere was warm and academic. Leaders of the three parties and participants exchanged views on issues of concern in technology, design, process, and standards.

Before the end of the meeting, the leaders of the three parties made thorough planning and deployment of the next work orientation and content. In the warm atmosphere, the Review Meeting of the Technical Solution came to a successful conclusion.

Germany TSDT1100 centrifuge differential transformation overhaul project delivered

An enterprise in Qinghai Province is currently using German TSDT 1100 settlement filter centrifuge. The differential on the centrifuge has been damaged in succession this year. Through the open bidding, our company received the notice of winning the bid on July 30, 2021, and signed the renovation and overhaul contract of 3 differential machines on September 2.

In May 2021, Brikon signed three sets of LW635X2540-N horizontal screw discharging centrifuges with a chemical Engineering Design Institute in Tianjin.

The characteristics of the material to be separated in the project are: flammable and explosive, small density difference, fine particle size, so the mixed liquid belongs to the material difficult to separate.
