In early 2022, a domestic petrochemical enterprise encountered major production bottlenecks within its dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) separation process due to sub-optimal equipment selection. Following in-depth technical discussions, Tianjin Promising demonstrated solid technical competence for DMT-related separation applications, and both parties concluded a technical agreement together with a supply contract for three sets of centrifuges in July 2022.
Back in 2014, Tianjin Promising completed extensive technical exchanges and project-level cooperation with Japan’s Teijin Group for dimethyl terephthalate separation. For this application scenario, Tianjin Promising delivered tailored technical solutions to match process requirements. The custom-built LW650-DQF centrifuge realized effective dimethyl terephthalate separation. All three units were commissioned in 2014 and have maintained stable continuous operation for ten years.
In January 2023, Tianjin Promising delivered three sets of LW635X1905-N centrifuges to the above-mentioned customer on schedule. This model represents an optimized upgrade derived from the LW650-DQF platform, with targeted adjustments to technical parameters and structural design. This customized upgraded special-purpose equipment has well met the customer’s on-site process requirements.
The equipment delivers reliable performance for dimethyl terephthalate separation and satisfies three core technical indicators: processing capacity, filter-cake moisture content, and mother-liquor clarity. After nearly one-year stable field operation, the customer placed a follow-up order in December 2023 for an additional three complete machine units plus one rotor assembly. On September 26, 2024, the latest batch of ordered equipment was finished loading and shipped out.
